Is my mobo screwed?

Motherboard: Abit AB9 Pro

About a week ago I was attempting to upload some pics from my camera via USB. Something happened, and I got a message saying that there was a power surge through the port or something like that. I somehow still ended up being able to upload the pics, though I also got messages about the device not being recognized and/or malfunctioning. My camera was also acting funky, so I figured the problem was there.

But then I tried printing something about a week later, with no problems in the interim (and no attempts to print) and the same type of messages - device not recognized/malfunctioning, etc. I tried different ports, and managed to get what I wanted printed. I've also been having problems with my wireless adapter, but I've attributed that to it being a free POS from my ISP.

So I did a little research here, and after finding a thread on a similar problem, I opened up my case and reset my CMOS, as well as the USB power jumpers. Now the damned thing doesn't work. It posts, I can get into the BIOS, but I can't get out. It just kinda freezes where it says "Save Changes and Exit Y/N? Y" and is non-responsive to my keyboard (though keyboard works just fine within the BIOS). I've used both USB and PS/1 keyboards for this. If I bypassed the BIOS, it starts to boot Windows, but then just stops and I have a black screen.

Any ideas?
Thanks

If possible, use a multimeter to see if your PSU is putting out the correct voltages (12V, 5V and 3.3V), or see if they're reading correctly in the motherboard BIOS if you can get to that section.

When you cleared your CMOS did you make sure to do it properly? If I was you I'd take the battery out and leave it for an hour just to make sure, then try booting something other than windows, maybe a Linux live CD or something. Do those voltage checks in the BIOS too. If that didn't help then I'd employ the 'take it apart and put it back together again' tactic - clean all the dust out, reseat everything, get that PSU on a bench and read the 12V lines and the PWR_OK pin with a multimeter. If that doesn't help then the answer to your original question might be yes...

Well, I will try clearing the CMOS again, and I'll have to dig up a multimeter. Thanks.

Well, I ended up buying a new PSU, and now the damned thing won't start up, no fans, no boot, nada. The one LED and the LCD readout for the mobo light up, but that's it. I also had to reseat my HSF during this ordeal, I noticed that it had come unseated again, and I had possibly had it going for awhile with it like that, but not for more than 10 min total, and it wasn't a taxing 10 min.

What's my main suspect now?
