You cared enough to post a thread listing very stereotypical things as 'evidence' (your words) on a message board known for its complete lack of empathy towards homosexuality or minorities of any kind for that matter. If he's a cool guy you wouldn't be posting 'evidence' trying to paint him into a corner. Who fucking cares what he does outside of work? This is the thread equivalent of a sewing circle gossiping about the new girl. I don't care about spelling and grammar thanks, but I do care about being labelled as clueless in regards to what it means to be gay by straight people. Your example applies to a lot less people than you think it does.

Well, it's possible you do, you just wouldn't recognize them because most don't present themselves the way you claim that they do.
Personally while I know it's wrong according to my faith, it does not really bother me if people make that choice, just don't be all over my face about it. Sounds like this guy is just trying to be nice, would not really worry about it.
