Is my PSU Close to Death?

Bought from someone on ebay a great brand USED 1000w PSU,told me its in perfect condition however after installing it today.
It gives out weird squeeky electric noises when under Load ,after some searching seems like the coils/condensators are doing it.
Is this PSU basicly near death? will try to return it but just wanted to confirm?

have read that after it starts to happen the psu's just die very soon after? :whiste:
also just noticed that the warranty sticked has been broken so the previous owner has already tried to open it up lol

I'd send it back just for the broken sticker alone, unless the seller advertised it as such.

Not sure now at someplaces its said that coilwhine is nothing dangerous,however some are saying that its sound of death? thats why im asking?

also seems like it stops this whizzing electric sound as soon as I use more power in system, it wizzes like crazy when its on idle or very very very light load but is absolutely quiet when under a bit more load -can anyone confirm this is this so called Coil whine and that actually its nothing dangerous and that this psu wont die and catch fire and burn down my house lol?

I was gonna build this as mining rig ONLY so it would be under huge power all of the time anyway which seems to stop this damn sound.

I wouldn't use it and send it back, just the seal being broken would send alarm bells ringing. What make and model is it?

Utilize the powers of eBay and Paypal buyer protection to get your money back. Not worth keeping and risking the loss, IMO. It's used and the warranty is void because of the seal being broken, so it's not as advertised, and it just plain seems fishy. Why not send it back? Does this PSU have sentimental value?
