Not true. Bush gained a lot of cred from the NRA gun nut types during his campaign and presidency for allowing concealed handgun permit holders to carry their weapons near him.
Many people attribute his Texas gubernatorial win to his promise that the first thing he would do in office was sign a concealed handgun bill (that his opponent had vetoed repeatedly.)

We already have aspects of socialism in our system -- a lot of them, in fact.Communism has never and will never be implemented. A dictatorship like the soviet union with the name of communism? Sure. Socialism is simply an economic system. It is not inherently evil. Trying to link it with a brutal dictatorship has always been pathetic. The US was founded in part on the idea of socialism. i didn't follow the tea party movement as much and I just started tuning into some OWS news and am reading about violence, rapes, vandalism, etc.
is this because there are more numbers participating in OWS? is it an angrier crowd?

As a result the mayor has asked for the camp to disband and it appears a police raid is forming.

It's only a matter of time before the anarchists spread to every corner of the Occupy movement. How much uglier will it get before this debacle is finally over? What will the "mainstream" members of OWS do to prevent it from coming to a head?

The mainstream media wishes to portray OWS in as bad a light as possible because mainstream media is essentially corporate owned and OWS is more or less anti-corporate. The TP on the other hand is a manufactured "movement" in much the same way that Justin Bieber is a manufactured pop star.

The Tea Baggers are too lazy to make a long-term committed effort of the same scale as the nation-wide (and Canada) OWS movement. Add to that the fact that Tea Baggers are mostly older people who are well-off and comfortable with their government-run medicare programs. They'll show up at a rally to hold up a sign and spew out insults then retire to their comfortable homes for a nice steak dinner.
The OWS participants are showing true American grit by digging in their heals, braving the elements and by hanging in there for months at a time.
