I had a bike frame from a $650 bike break on me, and now the company who claims a lifetime warranty on the frame is acting strange. Is what they are doing, right?
Details:
The company, Raleigh said that the frame was under warranty. They sent me a very nice replacement, except tha it is not compatible with the other parts of the bike that they sold to me. Is this legal?
If a car I buy has a longer warranty on the drivetrain (i.e. engine and transmission) then I if my engine or transmission broke, I would not expect them to give me an incompatible replacement? This is what they are essentially doing by replacing my frame with an incompatible one. There should be some law against this?
Is there?
Thanks,
Jason
