Doesn't it ususally start dipping down around Xmas now that all of the big OEMs like Dell, HP, and Gateway have mostly bought their holiday inventory and supply starts outstripping demand again. It seems like it happens almost every year, ususally hitting bottom around Feb-March or so (barring any earthquakes or other disasters in Taiwan). I figure sometime early next year it is time to kick my Corsair ValueSelect PC2700 (512MB for $50 at a Fry's grand opening, so it wasn't bad) to the curb and get me a quality dual channel kit from Mushkin or OCZ so I can see what my new 2500+ really can do on my A7N8X. I'm hoping to grab a 512MB kit of the Enhanced Latency Platinum OCZ PC 3200 for under $100 soon. Maybe something even better if the price is right. I'm hoping that with the A64-FX being the next big thing, Registered ECC becomes all the rage soon and pushes down the price on the regular DDR.
