Is Ripplehost still down?

Took a bit longer, but ripplehost has been sold and we'll reactive the boxes for you and hopefully we can get all data back up.

I thought I'd provide a quick update.

Alan has started giving us the information we require to move the ripple host accounts to our own servers. We will be looking at starting that shortly. We still require some more info to complete the move and are in contact with Alan.

Caught this announcement via e-mail and GottaDeal. This will translate to nothing but a positive experience for those past RippleHost users in lingo. I do not believe one could pick a better quality host to step in and correct the oversights in customer service.

My server is up and running I figure since you guys went through all that touble to pick it up I'm going to stay with you to support you too.

I believe I am. I say that because I only replied to the email I was sent indicating I intended to stay with the new host and inquiring about any cost change. I received a reply indicating the costs were unchanged.

The confusion comes in when I go to the website and see prices much higher than I recall.

The prices on RippleHost.com seem to be the same to me, although they are subject to change.

I personally hope Idologic restructures the pricing because $10/yr is UNREALISTIC if you want quality web hosting.

That's correct, prices are subject to change, but if you're already an existing client, then there's no changes.

Of course ripplehost.com and the parent company are completely seperate, ie. there's no uptime guarantee for ripplehost (but obviously we'd like to keep it high uptime ), no support other than in the forums (except for billing and things that can't be handled in the forum), etc. I.e. personal vs. business...
