Is Running An AMD Thunderbird 1GHZ @1.1GHZ AT 46C TOO HOT?

It is alil more than normal but it's not

yeah.. you're okay.. I got a 900 tbird running stock.. and my A7V reports 47C (sandra 47, bios 47 probe 57!!!).. I think you're okay.. but then.. I'm not the authority on this.. I'm gonna reseat that damn cooler master I got on it tonight with some arctic silver..

BTW, that retail fan isn't taht bad. it should be a taisol CEK733092, and it outperforms both orbs.

With my current system I had 45C with Tb1G @1.2G/stock hs. After a sacrifice for Alpha PAL6035 now I have 40C.

anyways.. this IS relevant to this thread.. cause in that 'video review' he states that 49C is extrememly within the boundaries.. so I guess your 46 is super-extremely within boundaries..

now.. if I could just wrench off this damn heatsink..

the temp is stress at 100 percent cpu
