Is samsung t28d310 good for pc gaming?

This is my setup

Asus Crosshair V Formula Z ROG Motherboard
AMD FX-8350
12GB RAM PATRIOT SECTOR 5 DDR3 1600MHZ
60GB CORSAIR SSD
1.5TB SEAGATE HDD
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 770
ANTEC KUHLER H20 650 LIQUID COOLER
EVGA SUPER NOVA 750 WATT PSU

I came across this monitor/hdtv its a Samsung 28" LED T28D310
I've noticed its only limited to 1366x768 HD Resolution
This is normally a hdtv, it even has a remote.
Ive had the sales person play a blu ray movie on it and its actually
playing on 1920x 1080p which is really weird. He even showed me
the disc is blu ray. Now If I'm going to apply this to pc gaming
will I have a problem with resolution?
The sales person told me gaming shouldn't be a problem, only issue
is that on desktop mode, its not going to be as detail and some text
will be a little blurry.
I end up buying it because it was on sale for 119.99+tax
and its a 28 inch. I came from a AOC IPS LED 27" Display
When the sales person played a blu ray of the Bee Movie
I was astonished how vibrant, colorful the movie was on this
display.

Why won't I test it? Well my Asus Board is being RMA'ED right now so I have no other pc to test it out in.

Personally, I wouldn't touch that TV with a 10 foot USB cable.

Agree. Your monitor is probably 1080p, whereas that TV is 720p. That's a big downgrade for typical PC use. You should return it.

Go for HP laptops with high memory video graphic cards!!
