i imagine you could say something like this and get a good reaction:

answering with a reply as long as this doesn't strike me as meaning that i'm lying or stumbling, trying to think of something to say to get myself out of a bad situation. I think of it more as 'my thoughts on this topic require many words to explain, for they are complex"

Maybe i'm just a hopeless romantic or something, but when i'm in love with a girl, she seems much prettier than anything else around. Comparing somebody I have no feelings for to somebody i'm madly in love with is just pointless.
