a U.S. size 8 (didn't know there were different sizes between countries until I searched google images), if he has decent height, is still going to be relatively thin, main difference is going to be the girl actually has hips.

I like ass an legs. Flat chest is a turn off, but if she isn't flat, the immediate next place I look is ass and legs. I want to see hips. Curves. An actual figure, not something straight down the side.
Some size 8s and 10s can be rather chubby in the stomach, but the side profile ends up being a straight line from upper stomach to the waist. That's a little on the unattractive side, because that is a little bit of pudgyness. But if she has curves and is a size 8 or 10, she's going to actually be pretty thin. No curves, she's starting to be a little pudgy, also dependent on how tall or short she is.
Having a shapely ass and some legs that aren't twigs, I'll take that over a super model any day. I don't want to see hip bone.

depends on your taste, i think size 8 is just fine, 12 is on the fat side. 0 is more or less unrealistic for most people.
This thread is seriously making me reconsider going back to the states. It's been too long and I don't think I can handle all the fat people, all the excuses, and all the McFood in their fat mouths anymore.

yeah i've never dated a girl that had any fat on her at all... that's why im asking... might hook up with this girl i haven't hung with in a while.. she used to be thin, says she's a size 8 now and she says she's fat, but every girl says she's fat... wanna make sure i dont go any further if she's not up to par.
If she was actually 130 pounds she should be a size 4-6 depending...
