Has anyone heard of "Super PC" brand memory. They claim
to have the largest memory manufacturing plant in the US.
(I didn't know any memory was made in the US), and to
be a supplier to many rebranders...

Are these guys any good, or is this just crummy no-name
quality stuff?

Here's the spiel from their Web page (www.superpc.com). Note that
I was wrong about them having "the" biggest US manufacturing plant.
It's "...one of the biggest..."

Ehhhhhhhhh! Wrong answer! Go with name-brand memory only. Or a smaller upscale manufacturer that uses name brand chips and sells their product with a guaranteed speed an CAS rating and/or a lifetime guarantee.

Cheap RAM is just that. Cheap RAM. Why spend $45 on a stick that may or may not work, when you can spend $55 on a stick that many people use, and you know will work? Good stuff only.

Your mobo/CPU/memory are the three things that get used the most any in pc; don't skimp on any of them.

Hey, I agree that name brand memory is usually the better option
(unless you're building for someone else ). But the basic
question was whether Super PC is anything better than no-name.
So far, the conscensus seems to be "I've never heard of it,
so it's probably the SAME as any other no-name." Fair enough.

I agree with Kwad, just buy some name-brand RAM and you will be happy. If you've never heard, you never buy
