As a legitimate hunter, I find the SparkyJJO poorly reasoned and too typical of a non gun owner.
As I point out, "You can only drive one car at a time, why have more than one?" Point being I drive a high milage compact car most of the time, but when I need a load of lumber
or to haul a new refrigerator, I need a pickup truck because my high milage compact car won't do the job.

In terms of sports hunting it takes at least 3 guns to handle the range of North American hunting. A 22 rim fire for very small animals, a shotgun for birds, and a high powered rifle for deer and larger game.
