if you use it as your primary card yes the 100$? annual fee is worth it. +1 year warranty on everything, CS that will bend over backwards for you and their concierge service is 2nd to none.
Admittedly, most of my cards that have the fancy features, such as 2nd year warranty, flight luggage insurance, concierge service, etc have an annual fee (waived for the 1st year - I signed up for a number of them for the miles signing bonuses, ranging from 35k to 75k).
However, my Chase Freedom, which used to get me 3% on the top 3 categories, then was subsequently downgraded to rotating 5% quarterly cash back (a la Discover card), also provides concierge service, 2nd year warranty, travel luggage insurance, rental car insurance, etc. And guess what? No annual fee.
So no, don't bother with the annual fee. Totally not worth it. Find a card with the higher end perks that doesn't have the annual fee.
