Is the Media provoking racism by feeding into these homicides by unarmed people?

Its funny that you seem to think that all these problems happened after Mike Brown was shot, but the years of police abuse somehow means nothing.

People learned long ago in Ferguson that the police are not on their side, which is something the police have gleefully shown to be true whenever possible. Maybe if the police had been interested protecting and serving instead of seeing the population as a money source, a lot of these problems could have been avoided. But they didn't, so now this is what they get.

Did the city burn before or after Brown?
Did officers get shot before or after Brown?

There were problems at Ferguson, no denial.
It had nothing to do with the DOJ type findings; no one was out on the streets before Brown complaining on the issue.

But people choose to aggravate the issue making it difficult to move forward.

Peoples actions have shown that they want revenge, not healing.

The video captured a voice which clearly demonstrated the issue. Because nothing was done previously, even though Brown was at fault and Wilson not; people felt that a lynch mob should have been done; justice be dammed.

To clarify when I said Wilson was Klansman that wasn't literal. That was figuratively. He has racist thinking either consciously or subconsciously.

Because being on the streets protesting the police pre-Brown would have been a good way to end up in jail. Or with a baton to the face. Even if they protest, people like you would have been complaining about these uppity blacks talking back to the white officers.

It is funny how its never the police's fault for years of racist policies and abuse, its always the victims fault. The only people who have aggravated the problem are the same people that caused it, the police. If they had done their jobs in the past, this wouldn't be an issue.

"Needs covering"? I'll posit that there are far more stories deserving of coverage that were ignored, while the Ferguson and Trayvon stories were media driven. Without the media, they weren't stories at all.

They weren't stories because a large chunk of the population were oblivious to the problem. Now that they know, they have the luxury of denying it.
