I read that bodybuilding.com thread a year or two ago after several of us caught him flatout lying about guns and his supposed marksmanship skills. No idea why he keeps coming back, not my call to make so I never asked, but what really gets me is how often he is caught lying, yet keeps doubling down for more.

Hopefully this is the last of him and his lies and overly abrasive posting style that always derails threads.

I just tried reading that and couldn't handle more than two pages. It seems he admitted lying about claiming he wasn't PowerSwede, but what else is confirmed as a lie? Either he's telling the truth about a lot or an unbelievable compulsive liar and spends a huge amount of effort working on his lies (and assuredly needs professional mental health care if that is the fact), I lose track.

I'm not saying that the UK doesn't have the right to exclude anyone they want, i'm just saying that this sort of thing is a serious infringement on free speech, even though it might not seem like it at first. We have kids going to jail for trolling on facebook for fuck's sake. Surely it's worse than just putting up with the trolling? Surely? Wouldn't it be better to work on "fixing" those likely to be incited by their presence, EDL or whatever? Whatever produced that kind of ignorance isn't going to be fixed by some token effort to prevent trolling.

In most of europe it's illegal to deny the fact that the holocaust happened. If someone really believes that then it's probably better that they be identified, ridiculed, discredited and held in contempt as soon as possible. Instead we think it's better to just have them keep their dubious ideas to themselves. Whether or not he's less likely to disseminate these ideas or not under the law, even if true, it's still probably better on balance to trust the public to be smart enough to recognize a dubious claim when they see one. Maybe try work on the education system. Maybe not do shit like broadcast ramadan on public television. Isn't that's far more likely to incite the EDL than a couple of American trolls?

I'm not being rhetorical. If you think any censorship beyond the classic fire in the crowded theatre scenario can be justified, then why do you think that, beyond the strong and understandable desire to hate on hate groups? Is that really enough? Shouldn't we draw the line somewhere, and closer to the theatre side than the facebook trolling and transparently nutty islamaphobe side when it comes to government interference in what people can say?

This is all assuming there weren't other reasonable grounds for denying them entry (some kind of criminal charges or actually any kind of technicality really). Just not just for trolling potential!

I used to be a part of the Swedish "kustjägare" the equivalent of the american Navy Seals, i wore a green beret and if they would have asked me to jog 5 english miles i would have laughed at them because i would have known they were joking... try 15 miles a day...

What's funny is that he probably would have gotten away with it (i.e. no one would have cared) if he hadn't been such an insufferable, combative prick.
That's actually what appears to have been his "downfall" at every other forum; finally, after pissing off enough people with his attitude, they look into some of his claims, and they all fall apart. That's how I looked him up. I read the "SAS Captain" nonsense, then read the childish bravado he'd spew and knew instantly no one even close to doing the things he claims to do is going to behave that way. On internet tech forums, no less.

What's truly scary is that the guy has a history of doing this for at least the past 8 or 9 years. That's....f*cked up. That goes beyond trolling and fantasy worlds. That's "I need to be on medication and wear an ankle monitor" level screwed up.
