Of course he won't be mad. Why would he? His job is to deliver packages. He would be mad if he didn't delivery packages to your house, and everyone else's house, as he would likely be out of a job.

Nope, he does it for me all the time. I prefer him to the Fedex or USPS guys though. The other two just leave stuff at the top of my steps (as in, clearly in site of everything), while the UPS guy actually tucks it behind the rails. He'll even put stuff behind my house if it is too big.

I think the most ridiculous one was USPS putting a box in my mailbox that didn't fit. He jammed it in there just enough to stay, but left most of it just hanging out. Seriously, get out of the fucking car.

I order work stuff at home sometimes, so I get packages pretty much daily. Me & my UPS guy are good buddies at this point

That happened to me recently too...we were loafing around in the post-Sunday-dinner food haze when they knocked on the door. I had to check the calendar to make sure I was on the right day haha.

it's in the UPS driver's handbook. 2 or more stops at the same location on consecutive days allows for on premise urination.

It is called Smartpost and Amazon and many other retailers use it for low cost shipping on low weight items. FedEx, UPS both use the USPS for such.

My old UPS driver was weird. He used to open my porch door in the back of the house and put my packages in there. Mind you that this was a walled in porch, so he's basically breaking into my house to deliver a package. Maybe he thought that I left the door unlocked for him??

My old UPS guy would "hide" packages. Under the door mat. I order a computer case and he put it under the door mat. I almost peed myself laughing.

Hahaha I've seen pictures like that. They probably have a policy "if you can do it that way, if not, do it that way" and the floor mat is probably one of the last resorts.

I sometimes get packages left right at my front door when I'm not home. while convenient since I don't have to go run after it, I'm always worried it gets stolen. Never happened yet though.

Yeah, I've been lucky. The UPS driver used to leave computer parts boxes clearly labeled with their contents at my front door, and I was living in a bad neighborhood at the time.

And, NO, this wasn't the same place where I left the back door unlocked

The UPS drivers here drive little bikes with a wagon full of packages behind them. First time, I've seen that.

I appreciate when they stick the packages inside the door. But, it's always the door to the garage apartment; and I don't go in there regularly. So, I find the package when it occurs to me, "hey, I should have gotten <package> by now." I check the tracking, see that it was delivered 4 days ago, and go check the garage. The regular driver leaves the stuff on my porch; it's gotta be a substitute driver who uses the side door to the garage.
