Is there a difference between the A 64 +3200 and +3500?

Hi guys! This is my very first post here at these forums and you people here seem very knowledgeable and I really want some clear straight answers, so here goes. I was wanting to know if the only difference between the A 64 +3200 and the A 64 +3500 is that the +3500 comes with a higher clock speed than the +3200. I was also wanting to know if the +3200 can reach as high of OCs as the +3500 and if the +3500 comes with better stock cooling than the +3200. I'm sorry if the way I worded this confused you but it's the best I know how to say it, anyhow thanks in advanced ^^.

There are 2 different 939 3500+ processors. The 90nm version of the 3500+ is of similar build to the 3200+ except that the 3500+ has a higher multiplier 11 vs 10.

Will a 3500+ OC higher than a 3200+, it all depends but it is starting with a 200mhz lead so it likely will

ive seen some people get a 3200+ (90nm) up to 2.6ghz on stock cooling. im not too sure about the 3500+ but i dont think it would warrant the extra $$ IMO

Ah, well what about the +3000? Does it have a lower multiplier than the +3200? Oh btw I was talking about the 90nm version of them sorry I didn't specify.

yes, the 3000+ has a lower multiplier. it is 9*200. also, it appears to OC a bit less in many cases.

Ok, then in this case which is your people's opinion on this. Should I go with the +3200 or the more exspensive +3500?

Go with the 3500+. It will be easier to oc higher and you probably won't need to up the voltages as much as you would have to to overclock a 3000 or 3200 to the same speed.

Well, if I can get it anywhere near 2.6 Ghz with stock cooling I'll be happy. I think my case will have pretty good cooling (2 120mm fans and a 480W PSU) and a big enough PSU for it all so I think I'll be a very happy person come this January ^^. Plus with the money I saved by going with the +3200 I decided to get some better RAM. It's PC3500 and I kinda like to know if I'm going to have to do the ratio thing with it or if it'll be good enough to take me up by 200-300 Mhz? http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=20-146-950&depa=0

3500+ .09 best cpu/cash on the market right now. in some article ive read the guy called it the performance/money sweetspot and he got that right imo.
