Is there a good MP3 FM modulator?

Does anyone make an MP3 FM modulator that can transmit on any frequency, has an LED screen, and can rapidly skip through tracks?

See this thread if you don't know what I'm talking about.

all FM modulators are crap. First you'll always run into the problem of frequency interference with FM stations. Second i suppose they can't make the signal very strong or else it'll interfere with cars nearby and probably won't pass regulation. I bought one made by Monster, it was a waste of money and i returned it. It's just too bad that standard car audios don't offer external aux-in connection.

If you don't already have a DAP, then you can check out the Neuros II. I have the original Neuros and an very happy with it. If you want more info, look at the online forums at that website. There's an excellent community there that even the CEO of the company, Joe Born, is active in. The company is also in the process of trying to get the firmware to be open source (open.neurosaudio.com). The downside is that the player is rather large, but there is a mini-player due out during the summer.

If you already have one, then I think Belkin makes an FM transmitter. I've never used it, though.

Neuros...isn't that just a normal MP3 player? I was asking about MP3 FM modulators.

Aztech, that MP3 modulator is also discussed on the first page in the link in my OP. To me, it'd be practically unusable.

I have bought 5 different FM modulators... All of them suck. Dont waste your time or your $$$.

I bought the Stereocaster FM from here. While I wasn't able to make an antenna as per the instructions, I found that a 4 foot piece of regular wire worked just fine - a thin speaker wire in this case. It also takes some tuning, but I thought the quality was quite good - that was even played through some nice speakers with a home stereo system; the source was a little RCA portable MP3/CD player.

The range of it was at least 100 feet through trees, and through the walls of a house.

Of course, it also lacks any kind of readout on it - tuning is based on a potentiometer (rough tuning) and some kind of tunable inductor (for fine tuning). They've got some more expensive, and more capable kits there though.
