is there a mach processor?

my girl came home from work and told me her boss got a new laptop custom ordered with a new mach cpu in it? is there such an animal? i may have spelled it wrong but thats how she pronounced it. if so? anywhere to get some information on it?

hmmm i havn't heard of mach used in anything since ati's onboard graphics of the 90's
perhaps she is just mentioning a make or model

The only Mach I know of is the ATI Mach64 graphic processor which is terribly old by now so that can't be it.

Very well could be repeating a cooling term used vs the real cpu name, as such:

well done star.. for a minute i thought i was reverted to moron status by some of the other remarks on my inquiry. hats off for finding it. .. now that we have found what the mach is ...lets generate some thoughts on the matter..is it worth it?....is this the next phase of computers? is it all bells and whistles or is it a viable evolution of pc's?
