I'd like to see Rand run, and I have always been a fan of Jindal. I don't like Rubio and saying that I hope whoever it is they are of a new era from BOTH parties. I don't want to see a Clinton or Biden run and a Bush or Santorum on the conservative side.

But as long as its Paul, Rubio, Christie, Ryan, etc I'd be alright with it. Anyone who can bring new blood and ideas to the GOP.

I'm very interested in Tom Cotton at the moment but he was pratically just sworn in so not much to go on.

Rubio is not a Republican. He's a Dem acting like he's a Republican. The immigration bill is the proof.

When questioned about this part of the immigration bill, Rubio knew nothing about it. In other words, he hasn't read the bill.

I'd love to see an independent candidate garner enough support to win. Fuck these R's and D's.

Republicans....or do you mean tea-publicans? The former is a rare breed nowadays as the latter has taken over the party. It has become radicalized by the very wings of the party once derided as fringe - the bible-thumpers and Ayn Rand devotees. I just don't see the Republican party putting up any moderates in 2016. But, if I had to put forth a few suggestions, perhaps Huntsman should try again. He seemed the only sane one in the primaries the last time. Perhaps one of the republican outcasts along the lines of David Frum would be a good idea too.

Rand Paul would be an excellent choice and there are good chances he will run in 2016. He is much better and different than the current politicians we have and has real ideas to fix the country. Other like-minded republicans that would also be a good choice would be Justin Amash and Mike Lee.

The Democrats currently have many more problems than the Republicans ... #1 being the possibility that Hillary Clinton is considering a run.

When and done, 20 years from now, President Obama will be seen as just as bad (or worse) than President Bush is. All you have to do is ask yourself ... are you and the country better or worse off than we/you were before he took office.

The answer is no and the reasons are many.
