I'm perfectly sane. I'm wondering while all you are so willing to bend over and spread the checks for politicians and policies that are not in your best interest. Explain it for me. Do you love money that much? Does having money make you feel superior? Does having a gun make you feel like a tough guy? Do you feel so bad about yourself you have to look down on minorities? Seriously, I want to know how one becomes such a self-loathing, masochistic piece of garbage.

Hahahaha

You simply dont get it.

I "get it" perfectly. Ha ha. You're too fucking stupid to know you're being fucked, and then you're going to defend getting fucked. Got anything substantive to say, instead of /chanspeak Hahahaha? Didn't think so.
ROFL...unbelievable.

Read his posts over the past few days... the guy has fallen completely off his rocker. I've never seen anyone implode like this. Is he trying to get himself banned? Is he going through Ritalin withdrawal? Did mommy put the Oreos up too high? I just can't tell.

Apparently it's "J"King for... "Jenga!"

Instituting a broad, sweeping change like this without doing your due diligence is negligent and nearly criminal. Of course, that description applies to nearly every one of our elected officials, but I digress....

That's a good point. There hasn't been a valid test for the system. Other countries results don't serve as a proper test.

I agree with that statement, considering this new system is actually quite a bit different than any other country's system.

Jesus christ you moron, he gave a link to analysis about why people who thought that provision made for 'death panels' were wrong.

As a rebuttal you linked to the provision being removed, and the very article you linked has this quote in it:
The Palin claim about "death panels" was so widely discredited that the White House has begun openly quoting it in an effort to show that opponents of the healthcare overhaul are misinformed.

Like I said, this is why nobody takes you seriously. You're either illiterate or so blinded by ideology that you can't even read a one page article correctly.

As I have said before liberals love political dissent as long as it furthers their own agenda. Speak out against them and you are the enemy to be silenced by any means available.

Oh yeah, they'll drag you off to FEMA death panel camps, to make you have an abortion, and get infected with TEH GH3Y and watch Home Makeover all day long while collecting your welfare sex change Obamacare checks! Right?! Right?!

Anybody else get a picture of Howard Dean going whaaaaaaaaaaa! after reading jkings posts today?

ROFL

SP33Demon recognizes that Pelosi epitomizes the cancers that are our most partisan politicians.

Yep, I definitely agree with you on this one. I'm not a fan of Pelosi and never will be.

You have been warned before to post your mod complaints in the proper channels only. Take some time off so that maybe it will finally sink in.

Oh, and Jking was the first one banned in this thread. You come in third.

It's sad when people act in an out of control manner or get violent at a peaceful political discussion and it shares the national stage with murders, rapes, and Micheal Jackson's death. This is the only way righties can garner attention, by losing their cool and acting like an emo idiot on the news. BBC ftw.

Oh boy. Another idiot.

If you're jealous of the attention, maybe you can join those Democrat union thugs and start pushing little old ladies around.

Oh boy. Another town hall shouter. If I give you a free punch, think we'll make the news? You wish I was a Democrat, and I know losers when I see them - specifically people like you on the news. Keep watching Glenn Beck and listening to Rush, you may actually gain an IQ point by it.
I've never listened to either of those two people, but keep spouting generalizations little boy. You're proving your stupidity with every post.

My father explained to me that in the 50's the government capped what doctors could charge for procedures and it kept costs under control for about a decade when the number of the various sorts of procedures suddenly were exploding in numbers. Lawmakers just cannot keep up with the lawyers and doctors gaming the system.

Why would a unified health care system in a rat-ship law/judicial system like today's America being any different? Without serious reforms in the judiciary branch I cannot see any incentive for giving the other two branches of government support for this public health care option. I personally think Americans need to boycott doctor's for 30 days and let them start defaulting on all of their loans for a change.

Politicians are not listening to their constituents. Communication is a two way street. They dont want to hear that the people that voted for them dont want this heal care bill. Dont fix what is not broken.

If the Government cant run Medicare, why should we want another program that is more of the same?

If only it were possible for people to do that...to put off their bypasses and cancer treatments for thirty days...we probably wouldn't be in this mess. A big part of the problem is that unlike almost every other good and service, you can't live without health care, at least not without suffering a large decrease in your quality of life. (I'm saying that part of the problem is that health care isn't amenable to perfect competition like other widgets are.)

I wonder if he would be comfortable with doctors boycotting him for 30 days.

Not a problem, Hayabusa Rider, I haven't visited one for several years. Most of the advice the local general practitioners have given in the past was junk science at best. The only thing I could want from them is an occasional z-pac or other anti-biotic to get over strep. Otherwise they don't seem to be of much help in most circumstances.

Doctors are like spare tires, they're totally useless most of the time... until you need one.

People who work in healthcare aren't the problem here (generally). It's the people who are making money off of the people doing the healthcare related work that need to go.

Because they're paid Republican operatives, obviously. It's the vast right wing conspiracy at work.

IF you had read my earlier posts in this thread, you would know that is not what I believe.

I was referring to the MMA of 2003 (aka Medicare part D), the most sweeping and expensive health care reform act yet passed by the govt, but which the elderly did not complain about because they were the only ones who benefited from it.
As always with all forms of socialistic policies, the actual fight is over who gets to feed at the govt trough, and (despite the usual red herrings) not about whether the govt trough should exist to fight over in the first place.

Yeah I didn't hear much uproar over Bush's drug act. Some estimates have it costing over $1 trillion its first decade.

Reminds me of levies that help to pay for public schools and programs. While the boomers were rasing their kids, this was a non-issue. Schools had plenty of money, kids could enroll in multiple sports, field trips were much more common, etc.

Now the boomers vote down nearly every school levy that comes their way. Stated reasons vary....but the obvious reason is most of their own kids have all finished High School.

Imagine if all of the doctors got together and decided to pull an Atlas Shrugged. They could actually do that since, as a result of an artificial shortage of physicians, there isn't much real competition amongst doctors. This raises another issue that needs to be considered--do we have enough doctors in this country and should we begin producing more doctors to encourage price competition and better service?
