There clearly are not any real car ppl here. Go to any sprint car track across the nation.. see how many ppl run ford motors like your 4.6L and then see how 95% of them run good old 5.7L Chevys. Unless they are sponsored by Ford or Dodge, they use GM.. just the way it is.

I know, my brother is a big sprint car engine builder and builds motors year round.
Its great to scoot around town in a rustang or whatever, but when you need the real deal, like something to push a sprint car around and win races.. you use GM.

I wasnt sure about that completely though, did you find it somewhere on the web?

I like those 86-93s.. usually when you see those running around town (in good shape) you just met a REAL ford guy who knows his stuff and probably has a formidable ride.

I laugh at anything else I meet on the streets. If its a 94+ stang, 9/10 its a joke with little to no mods or motor work.
The 86-93s though are respected tho.

See one of those run up on you, its more fearsome than meeting a old foxbody stang (and esp the 4.6L :laugh: )... you see a turbo regal still running the streets.. if its heavily modded like this one there arent many 4.6L era rustangs that hold their own.

Turbo regals are much better set ups than 4.6L stangs. You'd better have alot of major work done to a 4.6L stang to match these beasts.

GNs are better rides than stangs period.. esp the 4.6 stang you have.

You might have a great, super duper 4.6L.. but guess what that doesnt show your intelligence.. a 5.0 is a much better starting point to creating a killer ride than the crappy 4.6 stangs.

Just wondering, thought I heard some hostility in there. I kno it aint slow. But the lowered scout sure aint slow either. Have yet to take it to the track, but just cruisin round, nothing has come close to touching it :evil: . I let the GF try to drive it, she was used to putting her foot into it in her ford explorer. Haha we drove sideways for 50 yards, and were followed by a tremendous white cload of toxicity.
