I was in Mill's rustang a couple of years ago and without any spray in the bottle it was faster than wet sh*t--by far the fastest car I've ever been in (not that I spend time at the drag strip, but it really was a rocket).

Before he sells it he's more than welcome to take me out for another spin in it *hint hint*, and we can document it with my video camera/digital camera for posterity's sake, so that when he's old and boring and has kids and a family sedan he can look back on the days he used to have a fast car.

Hehe I'm running 20 lbs boost at 8.5:1 on a daily driver ... I know there are some people pushing 26+ lbs on the same engine ('03 cobra) without problems...

20 lbs is the limit for me, otherwise its time to buy a bigger engine. Boost can only take you so far...

Im hoping for 25 on race gas for the strip and 13 for street. 8.0 static CR

I'm partial to the 94 Infinity q45 V8 sound.

Well, in all truth I've heard little else, or at least have never paid attention to other engine's sound, but I just got one of these and I'm loving it.

1.58 60 foot
113.5 mph Trap
11.994s ET

Not bad for a 4.6L eh? No boost or NOS either, all NA with bolt-on mods
I do believe that's the first NA '05 Mustang to do the quarter in the 11's.

That's a great engine!
the first time I saw someone put a coin on top of the engine standing upright, while it was running, and the coin didn't fall over! one of the smoothest V8's ever

(that was on a show, but so cool!)

my brother built a FE 390 last summer, and i would have to say thats the most responsive motor i have ever seen, when you step on the gas, it doesnt growl, it screams....a high pitch sound, almost like tires squeling on pavement, but much louder!!

Havent heard anything close that even holds a candle to it yet

Not so loud you can hear it two blocks away, but loud enough that when someone is beside me or behind me they think "mmmm that's a sweet sound" as opposed "SONOFAB*** THAT'S ANNOYING." I'm thinking of going with a completely MAC exhaust system (headers+cats+mufflers+pipes).

What I can't stand is those ricer cars that sound like really loud go-karts from two blocks away. I just wanna b***slap them and say "ya know, you could have saved some money and gone with a bullhorn and the sound clip of Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels from Dumb and Dumber."

Don't get a MAC exhaust. Their stuff sucks ass. I had MAC headers on my '94 Mustang GT and they leaked all the time. I must have replaced the gaskets twice on them before I just took them off and bought a pair of Ford Motorsport headers. I also had a pair of Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers on the car and it sounded great. Not too loud but loud enough.

I don't have that car anymore but I think I still have those crappy headers in a box in my garage. I really need to just toss that sh!t in the trash. Hehehe, I probably still have the weak 2.73 rear gears in my garage as well.

Oh man, just sh!t on my parade. All the mechanic shops say MAC is some good stuff and their mufflters sound better than the delta40s.

6 stangs now.. 79-93 and I never.. ever ever... had a problem with mac products not fittting correctly ... i will never ever use Ford Motorsport crap on my car ever.. the only exception was the B303 cam becasue noone else made good off the shelf cams...

MAC is the best stuff you can get period for the 5.0s
i cant personally speak for anything beyond the 5.0s as I have never had one... but I'm sure there is better stuff that Ford Motorsport crapola..

The problem with the MAC header is that each tube is individually flanged and as you tighten the bolts down the other tubes twist slightly and don't line up anymore. I had the gaskets replaced twice and they always leaked. IMO they weren't worth a crap. The Motorsport headers have a one piece flange that lined up perfectly and cured my exhaust leak nightmares. Believe me, I had two different Mustang shops and a muffler shop tell me the same thing. MAC headers are crap.

My Mustang GT was a '94 which still had the 5.0l engine.

When did you get those MAC headers? Maybe they've fixed the problem? As popular as MAC is, it sounds like an easy to fix design flaw.
