I have an old Microsoft Word 5 document that includes a bunch of formatting. I cannot find any program to read this document in and covert it to anything usable. There are some programs out there that can read it and generate flat text that looks like crap and loses a lot of the formatting, but nothing better...
I've read that you could read the document in with Word 5 and output a .rtf file that could be used as subsequent input elsewhere. Unfortunately, I don't own any computers that can run Word 5 (nor do even own Word 5 anymore)...
Is there anything that can be done?
