Well there's no way I can take your sister because 1. I'm extremely far away on another continent 2. I'm married. But what I'd like to say is to you personally. You are probably the best a sister could ever wish for and if someone does take your sister to Homecoming then they will be in debt to you and not the other way round.

A little far away, but I can sympathize. High School isn't all that much fun, even if you are in a group. People tend to be a little shallow, and the people you thought were your friends really aren't. Like most people, she'll probably have a much better time in college, especially if she's at a snobby high school like I was.

And you guys who think this is a bad idea, just think about it for a second. There are some truly nice people here who are probably a lot more willing than the average person to take someone to a dance without the expectation of getting any. I applaud Dezign for the effort, she deserves a :beer:

9/17 UPDATE: Talked to my sister last night... homecoming is on Saturday, September 27th. My parents insist on meeting the person first, so there'd have to be a meeting sometime before Homecoming... which kinda rules out those who might be coming from further away. My sister's excited but a lil nervous... so far, she's been talking to 2 very nice young men, and hopefully one of them will work out as a date... and if nothing else, become a friend.

I have a TON of work to get done here today, but I'll be zipping in and out periodically to answer questions, etc... thanks again to everyone...

If I was two years younger and didnt have 4 exams on the 26(Ill be in Dallas the 24/25), Id could have offered. Sorry to hear your sisters having a hard time, I know how it is, I went to three different high schools.
