may be it's just have a little bit different, like 32Mb geforce with 64Mb geforce, the 64MB geforce perform well on 32 bit colour

The 16 meg GF2 MX can be had for about 30 bucks cheaper than the 32 meg one is there a loss of performance with the 16 meg??

I've read that the performance diff on Mx cards will be far greater than GTs. The mx basically struggles with the memory bandwidth as it is, and with only 16Mb it is just not enough

???

I never knew that there was a 16mb Geforce2 MX! Which manufacturer makes a 16mb Geforce2 MX? I tested a 32mb Geforce2 MX on my computer and I got 32fps in q3 at 1280x1024x32 with everything maxed out. I know that my Celeron 466@525 was holding it back Geeez I bet it;ll be worst with the 16mb version. IMO, you should definitely stay away from the 16mb version.

There would be a big difference at higher resolutions. 32 MB is considered a minimum now for the new games coming out and if you buy a 16 MB version you will find it becomes obsolete very quickly because it will be unable to cope with texture-heavy games.

Get the 32 MB version even if it costs a bit more. It's well worth it.

Thanks for info people I knew the 16 meg one was cheaper for a reason. I be getting the 32 meg Asus. And Hotradeom 32 fps is not bad at all at those res and 32 bit compared to the TNT I have now.

Actually reports are the 16MB Asus MX has only a 64bit memory interface, half the bandwidth of the 32MB version. Obviously this would be far less desirable then the 128bit 32MB cards. I know of no other company so far other then Asus with 16MB cards, they are obviously meant for OEMs in low-end systems.
