Is there software for DUAL CPU from Intel? like AMD...

I have two Xeon 5160 CPUs (dual core). I'd like to know if there is a software from Intel for Dual Core/Dual CPUs? like AMD has for their CPUs...

I really want to use all the cores if possible...

What you're thinking of is a fix for timing issues. The only thing that can change core usage is an updated program from the software Dev.

No, Intel pays M$ to include the drivers for their cpu's directly into the Windows OS. Yours is already installed, in other words.

Where are these AMD drivers, exactly? I know I installed a patch for the X2 I have, but I'm not sure if it was a 64bit patch, or a dual-core patch...

there timing drivers ment to fix games. Sometimes games will shuttle if you dont have it installed. I havent seen any other reason to install this driver unless your gaming.


its located at the AMD website under support and drivers.

The X2 dual core optimization driver for X2

And theres a seperate opty driver for optys. I think there identical tho.
