So I finally built my first PC  and my lack of skills have led me to some problems. So, since my graphics card and windows 7 haven't arrived yet, I decided to keep my motherboard the same until the time being. I had a AMD Athlon II X4 630 @ 2.8Ghz that I upgraded to a Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4Ghz. So as soon as I boot up I get this Error Message: "ERROR: System fan has failed! service PC to prevent further damage to the computer. Press F2 to continue." I just press F2 and go on with my day until I download CPU-Z and get a 2.1v Core Voltage! WTF D: I didn't even overclock, I can't with this HP mobo. I read that the "safe" voltage is 1.5v My AthlonX4 had a 3 Pin CPU Fan and the Phenom x4 has a 4 Pin.
