Is there such a thing as a pillow that stays colder longer?

Powered or not, I hate constantly flipping my pillow to find a cool side when I'm trying to sleep, I would pay top dollhair to get my hands on one that doesn't get warm so quickly.

Not their main selling point, but yes they do. I use one back home when I visit.

Make sure you get 100% cotton covers, they seem to be nicely cool. That's what I use, still have to flip it, but I have had awful pillows in the past.

I had a couple of these. They do work as advertised. Sometimes it would be a little too cold for comfort, but basically did it's job. Downside is that they are pretty heavy. They work via water, so the 'Chillow' is filled with water (actually a spongy substance saturated with water). I had to throw mine out eventually due to some, er, growth in the chillow.

Hmm. Nice idea but it wouldn't work for me. I have this habbit of wadding my pillow up into a ball.

I bet ~80% of the population gets overheated in bed. They may get soaked from sweat, may be hot and uncomfortable, may toss and turn all night, etc. A cool pillow is the easiest solution - without disturbing the comfortable bed (mattress, sheets, comforter, etc.) It is just pure misery if you wake up too hot to sleep. For the majority of us, we really would love a cool pillow.

So does most of the rest of the world. But there is a huge feeling difference between warm and scorching hot while the temperature difference is very minimal. Thus, one small change in temperature can suddenly make a nice warm cozy bed into a miserable inferno.

In Asia, they just put a thin mat of jade tiles on top of your pillow. My dad has one, and it always stays cool. They don't have to be expensive. You could get a cheap one for like $10. The important point is to have a nice thermally conductive layer like jade to drop the temps down to room temperature...

My dad's got a Chillow. It works too well if you put it on top of the pillow, but it works perfectly below the pillow. At least for me, anyway.
