Congratulations. You picked up a first-year vehicle. These are the most prone to problems... of course it is a Honda, so even with rust through the body, a bungee cord holding the bumper, and your exhaust dragging on the ground, it'll still be worth $2000 in 15 years and you'll say you never had any problems with it.

Anyway, that was probably a decent price. I recent paid $18.5K for a certified 2003 EX V6 with 39,000 miles ($1.5K under KBB).
