It changes color depening on what's in the blood and can be an early warning sign for colon cancer.

Seriously, I had my second butt surgery on Monday. Bleeding from there is not normal. See your doctor asap and get a referral to a doctor that specializes in butt. This could be something serious and the longer you wait, the worse the infection gets and the worse the surgery gets. I could be something as simple as a tear, but get it checked out. And if you're only pooping once a week, you've got problems. You should be going atleast once a day...get some fiber!!

really?? my cousin walter did the same thing, He bought it at the local mall, so the whole fiasco wound up on the news. It was embarassing for my relatives and all. But the next week, he did it again. Different cat, same results, complete with a trip to the emergency room. Then, last week, I saw him in the pet store. He was buying another cat! I said, "Walt, what the hell are you doing, you know you're just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don't you knock it off?" And he says to me, "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy.

uhm, i would definately go get that checked out as that may be signs of hemroids, colon cancer, or many other possibilities.

now if you said you wiped your ass with folder paper and it bled, then that is a whole different story.

like me for instance, if i use k-mart toilet paper to wipe my ass after i take a crap, it will bleed sometimes. but it will never leak or anything like that. its like small drops. and i know it isnt coming from the insides of me otherwise it would probably drop inside my undies, and or the toilet.

but what you are explaining is a serious condition, or it could be at least.

go have it checedk out ASAP. like tomorrow if you can. or why dont you go to a ER tonight just to be safe.

if it is cancer :::knocks on wood::: and it is detected early and youre young you have a good chance of recovering from it.

No, that is not normal. It could be your anal walls are abraded or it could be a more serious problem (as if that was not bad enough!), so ASK THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY, even if it stops. Also, defecating once a week is not good. I would ask the doctor for advice about that, too. It could be diet or an underlying condition.

Definatly see a doctor... I had a similar situation a couple years ago. It's pretty damn scarry. I had to get the whole flexsig (camera up the butt) thing done. Doctor didn't find anything, and concluded it must be fissurs. Told me to eat more fiber. It's pretty much gone now, I think partly because I gave up soda, but it comes back time to time when I'm eating lots of the wrong kinds of food.

Just out of curiosity, do you eat alot of spicy foods and/or caffeine?

i don't eat a LOT of spicy foods, but i do eat them on occasion like any other food. As for caffeine, i was addicted to coke for a long time. Then i switched to diet coke. I realized i was addicted and decided to stop for a month and a half. I got back on coke/diet coke about 2 months ago (now that i think of it, the timing is coincidental....) and i drink a couple 20 ounces of coke/diet coke a day. I've been trying to go a day or two without pop, but the withdrawl symptoms are bad and i'm usually untolerable at work...i'm cranky, pushy, tired and seem to exhibit sure signs of PMS.
AND..i've been getting headaches lately...once or twice a week now. Nothing that a couple aspirin won't cure

breakfast (if i eat): either a pack of pop-tarts or two bagels with little butter and a diet coke
lunch: used to be pizza almost everyday, but now it's subway/Arbys/McDs/Taco Bell
dinner: whatever mom's cooking.

You must includes fruits and vegetables in your diet and drink plenty of water, a good sign to tell your system is well hydrated is when your urine color is white. Also exercising daily will keep your system regular.
