1155 supports SB and IB. If you mean will it support older socket 1156. the answer is no.

Pretty sure H67 doesn't support IB only P67/Z68 and you need a bios update which is down to the manufacturer. Asus for example have announced exactly which boards will be compatible once IB drops.

Do you mean the older socket 1156 cpus? These are a completely different socket even though they are still called I3/I5 etc and will not fit in any 1155 mobos

You sure about that? Everything I've read says IB is compatible with all chipsets/motherboards that support SB, albeit with a BIOS upgrade. I've seen nothing to suggest that IB's support on current SB chipsets/motherboards is limited to just the P67/Z68 series.

Some H61 and H67 mobos support IB. It just Depends on which model. Most likely a BIOS update is needed but support for it is there.
