Looks pretty hot to me at that price. I think it's about as fast as a 6800GT, but you're reliant on the SLI profiles (I'd imagine they're pretty good at this point).

Just be careful. The AT preview said it will only work in a specific Gigabyte motherboard. I'm not sure if they've fixed this.

Plus there are other issues. More heat, and something about losing a DVI-out. It also takes a *massive* hit when enabling AA/AF compared with 256-bit cards.

That's a damn good price. It should perform between a 6800GS & a 7800GT so that's a savings of at least $50 or more.

From the reviewers from newegg, it seems for their experience that this GV-3D1-C is a revision of somesort, able to run other SLi boards other than Gigabyte's.

Well, I have an X850XT AGP right now with my current rig (sock 754). Although this card looks sweet for price in my view

yeah i agree with Zebo.

It seems from benchmarks to be losing to single 6800gt when AA is turned on. U might get stability problems, need special drivers and what happens if one of the fans stops working or starts making loud noises. Harder to replace the fan as u need special dual fans/heatsinks. It says memory is 256bit but its actually 128bit from each 6600 so they just added it together which isnt as good as proper 256bit memory.

Rather get a 6800GS or x800GTO2 and unlock to 16 pipelines. Since u have pci-express they cost only $170-200.
