<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">I built the computer for a friend about a year ago. Has the K7S5A in it and worked great until one day their mouse died and when they went to replace it with the computer on they flipped the switch on the back of the PS by accident. They turned it back on and now it hangs at the Win98 boot logo. Pressed ESC and found that it hadn't gotten past the message that says it?s looking for a boot record. It is able to boot into safe mode but thats it. I formatted the drive and reinstalled 98 to make sure it wasn't a driver issue, I updated the BIOS and did a diag on the HDD, still have the same problem. Is the Mobo fried?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o></SPAN>
