This would be a good cause to go to war Canadians fight back I want to see some action. So if you go by plane this would be another $5.50 on top of all the landing fees etc. And Europeans don't have to pay or the Japanese or the Chinese just Canadians and Mexicans lol
Charge every American $5.50. Tell them it is a U.S. inspection fee. Give every returning Canadian $5.50. Let the Americans TAX their own people.

If you did a better job of keeping terrorists out of your country, we wouldn't have to spend so much money re-checking these people as they enter our country. As the failure to adequately screen them is yours, you now pay the expense for our re-screening.

The new fee also applies to Mexican travelers, but they don't seem to be complaining as much—maybe because they're used to getting screwed by the American government.
