No where is their *proof* that any scam took place nor is the OP the victim.
If a scam took place the victim will sort it out.
No reason to get in someone else's business.
I remember getting a package from Amazon and thought "I didn't order anything from Amazon..."
I opened it and it was an eBay purchase. It was packaged exactly like Amazon packages things. I didn't really think anything of it, and nothing ever happened.
Wonder if people are getting away with this like crazy.
I had this happen too, but it was with a book. but I don't recall it having some completely different person listed on the invoice.
Some of you guys are on here have a lot to learn regarding eBay and how sellers make money...

Then go on if you know.
Tell me how someone sells item X for $200 and it ships direct from "Insert RETAIL store" with someone elses name and state address at a cost of over $350.
I wasn't commenting specifically at this particular situation, but on the many posts following the OP.
My only comment is people are naive to think you can't buy under MSRP and resell it as a profitable operation. What do you think my company did for so many years?
I don't care about the different names and addresses. That in itself doesn't throw a reg flag. Do you know if he has distribution centers? Employees? Friends helping out? The OP might very well be in possession of a red item. But everything stated so far is all speculation.
Well, thanks for saying a whole lot of nothing.
Someone is jealous and wants in on the selling profit I can see. Perfect way to try to ask a question that you really want to ask but know no one will tell you. It is easy to see what your trying to do.
I know exactly what these sellers are doing but most will never tell you how it is done for good reason. It is amazing how simple and easy it is too. That is why no seller will dare tell you how this is done. The question your asking won't get a exact answer because it could hurt their business with you becoming competition. Why do you think so few people will never give you a straight answer on inventory resources ? Mainly because there is none. There is no list of resources. They are created and that is all I am going to say. You all are the ones that made it that way anyway. I wouldn't tell anyone here anyway how it is done because all they want it for is to become sellers. Most of you all want the easy answer. Like I said there is none and as far as saying they are created is all I am going to say. The only other thing is most of these sellers are not doing any kind of fraud. Now there is always a few bad ones that do. I for one am glad this is kept as a secret otherwise you would have every Jane and Bob trying to do this and ruin it.
Yeah I sent a quick message to NewEgg customer service (the only contact info I could find on their site) about the situation and their reply was beyond useless. I'd think if you could get a hold of someone at NewEgg whose job involved more than just following a script, it would be pretty easy for them to look into the unusual number of orders from one or a couple people on these products. Maybe my line of thinking was incorrect, though, and time would have been better spent contacting eBay about this. Most likely triangulation scam based on eBay activity history, price, and his response about Newegg.
But contacting Newegg or your credit card company will get you nowhere. It's not in their script to accept those calls. If I were OP I would return the item to Newegg and ask for a refund. Assuming he doesn't return money, do a chargeback.

You must sign in to Ebay to view these links.

Here is Ebay ID seller.johnmargel buying VERY expensive items, at inflated prices, from Ebay ID seller.scott. This is probably done to generate feedback. I seriously doubt if seller.johnmargel actually took delivery of these items.
Here is the reverse , where seller.scott is buying from seller.johnmargel . Here again, all VERY expensive items, at above average prices.
