Is this sexual discrimination?

My fiancee is a graduating physics major from the Colorado School of Mines. Last year there was this Professor that harassed her, saying that "Women can't do nuclear physics". This guy was a tight ass, and was very serious about it. Other women physics majors have had the same problem. They went to the deptarment head, told them about the problem and nothing has been done. What's the next step? A class-action lawsuit? Something else?

My HS chem teacher had a vendetta against females... the class started off with 12 girls... within the first 2 weeks, either the girl cried and ran out of class or dropped the class. It kinda sucked , most of them were hot.

It's pretty common for women to be looked down upon in scientific fields. Just ignore it and prove those assholes wrong. Bitching about it just takes time that you could be using to make progress of your own.

Sadly, it's very common. Filing a complaint with the Dean is a step, but even in explicit cases action is not always taken. I am sending you a PM with a link she might want to explore.

Unless you have specific, documented evidence that a student earned an A (per course grading standard) and was given a B you have absolutely nothing.
