I don't know what the hang up people really have with relatives and sex. There is only one reason it's a stigma and that is during reproduction the chance of recessive genes showing in the progeny is high. Most recessive traits are the bad ones.

In the 'old days', they thought the screwed up offspring was the sign of the devil or whatever...

Originally in time, most people only had the option to have relations with their relatives. Usually siblings were avoided, but not always.

To me I figure if two people are happy with each other let them be. My company offered benefits to same sex partners this year, I think that's a big step forward in accepting that homosexuality is not abnormal, just not the most common relationship.
