I'd be kind of surprised if it was that much bigger than the S4. My money is on this being a derivative or something.

Eh? The S4 was actually just as loud as, if not louder than (device variation) the One.

Anyway, they should call the S5 the S4S... I see no significant advances anywhere over the Note 3 half-generation, except Exynos Infinity which won't be in the US versions anyway.

I don't really mind too much about looks but this is too big and too fugly. Looks like a fairly small battery as well.

probably not possible with today's components and manufacturing techniques.

Plus the GS4's buttons on the bottom are already getting a little bit too close the edge to be used as comfortably as the GS3. Having the buttons on the bottom so close to the edge would be even worse.

I'm not holding my breath. I'm sure the S5 will probably be just another incremental step. Something like the above would be way more interesting.

And physical buttons I'm starting to see as a bit backward anyway. It sucks to hold back design based on something that's easily eliminated. I no longer even use the physical buttons on any of my devices- something like Button Savior makes more sense and is faster to reach and get on with whatever you're doing than physical buttons are. I know some people swear by them, but I personally think the future will be ditching them.

And i prefer physical buttons. Still havent seen a device or os that actually knows when i meant to press the button or not.

They always get it wrong. Accidentally backing out of games way too often. Need multiple presses when i really do want the button to respond.

God damn annoying.

Wow, free S4 looks like a pretty good deal now with this being such a small increment.

Xperia Z2 was pretty underwhelming, too, but I guess people(myself included) expect more from the #1 Android OEM by sales.

Frankly, the best looking device so far @ MWC is Huawei's MediaPad X1. Very slim and sleek. They've really went the furthest way of reducing dead space.

The S5 is if anything a step back designwise from S4.

I would be shocked if this is the S5, every other Samsung flagship has had a prominent Galaxy S or Galaxy Note logo on the back
