Looking for QB suggestions. I have Brady starting right now with Rivers on bench (bye week). These are the other options I can pick up:

Palmer vs Atl
Alex Smith vs Cle
Geno Smith vs Cin

Don't panic on brady. He's struggled against the jets twice and in Cincinnati. Otherwise he has been just fine.

Thoughts on a Helu for N.Washington+Marvin Jones deal? I'm trying to sell high on Helu and am thin at WR.

I don't think it's selling high if that's who you're getting for Helu. I'd shoot for one decent WR instead of two you can't really start.

I like Marvin Jones and picked him up last week, but keep in mind Hawkins is coming back soon and might eat into his production.

They're all bad plays for this week. Gordon has a noob throwing to him against KC, Wallace has to go against the best safety in the league (McCourty) and possibly best corner Talib, Kenbrell will have even less targets with Gronk and Amendola (possibly) back. Also, Wallace has a lot of drops.

All in all, Kenbrell for some red zone looks since he does have 4 TDs and Gronk could redirect attention away.

Thanks for that info. I think Jones will be a good play for this week and possibly the next, but he does line up in the slot at times.

I'm high on Nate Washington is because he has such a soft schedule, and Locker is sporting a top 10 QB rating on PFF and likes to go deep to him.

I proposed a S.Smith+Helu+Tolbert for VJax trade that was shot down, haha.

I'm streaming Carolina's DST and have S.Smith tonight, but sitting tolbert this week for Helu. Hopefully Smith's ankle is ok for tonight.

I considered starting Tolbert tonight over Cameron on Sunday. I feel like Tolbert's pretty much guaranteed to get a TD tonight, but even with the bad match-up and crappy QB I had to go with Cameron.

I know...this bye week sucks bad...I also have Bell available for the Flex...

looking over on fantasypro's it ranks them

Gordon, wallace, Thompkins and then Bell

PPR league. Wide receivers. I have Dez Bryant, DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, and Marques Colston. I'm thinking about dropping Colston for Harvin (limit of 4 WRs in this league). Thoughts?

Risk grabbing Harvin if you have 4 solid WR's already...that being said having 3 solid WR's allows you to take a risk!

I picked up Harvin if for nothing else trade bait since every week in the middle of the season I have had a season ender to someone!

Strange ending to that game... so < 2:00 left, Tampa has scored 13, and anything over that would drop Carolina's DST on yahoo (8 points at the time-->5 if Tampa makes the kick). Tampa goes to kick the FG, and the crowd boos pretty loud. Carolina then commits the personal foul as 45yd kick is made to give Tampa 4 more downs to try and score. Carolina then sacks Tampa on one of those downs, and defend 3rd down. Schiano probably didn't want to hear anymore boos so he goes for it instead of kicking the FG. Carolina defends 4th down, game over. I escape with 9 points instead of 5 lol.

does it make fantasy sense to get 3 players from an average team?

I have Garcon and Reed. The guy is selling a shopping Morris around, i guess last week's 3TD from Helu bothers him. I like morris, plus his bye week is over, he should be a solid RB2. For my group of Charles, CJ0K, Lamar Miller, Zac Stacy and Joqiue Bell. It would probaly cost me CJ and another player ( his choice of another RB or Greg Jennings). I dont mind the trade as i'm looking towards playoffs.

Right now I have Pettigrew in one league, someone snagged Reed ahead of me on WW. How would Watson stack up vs Pettigrew.

Wondering the same thing but swap Pettigrew for Jeff Cumberland of the Jets. All but Watson seem a bit dinged up so although I feel more comfortable about the body of work of the later 2, it might make Watson the safer choice. I'll probably change my mind back and forth a few times about which one I like better over the next couple days.

Yeah it's splitting hairs at this point. I know that Fauria and Megatron take precedence over Pettigrew in the red zone, but he did score last week on 3rd down after the defense denied the other two. Also consider that it is shaping up to be a shootout between Dallas and Detroit, according to analysts. Watson, not sure he has the hands nor speed of a Graham for his size. Cumberland is battling some injuries but Cincy does lack height in the secondary.

Also re: Detroit vs Dallas, I'm pondering starting Durham over Roy Helu in the Flex spot this week since Megatron is going to get shadowed by Carr. Claibourne (only 5-11 vs 6-5) is way shorter than White Chocolate (i.e. Durham who has a 36 inch vertical). Durham sucked last year but he's really improved as of late and should get tons of opportunities with Carr on Megatron.

Saw that. Good for me as a Joique Bell owner in a few leagues.

I still have him in a couple leagues. Wonder if I should start him over Zac Stacy this week.... I'm not starting him over Alfred Morris in my other league
