Yeah that's exactly what I am thinking. I could always take a dice roll with Mike Tolbert, he has had decent production his last few games and has a bump in value because its a ppr league but the possible return on Jonathan Stewart could really bump him down.

Eh, I wouldnt sweat it. Stewart returning wont mean instant 50/50 split there and Tolbert is a monster at the goal line.

I'll be starting Tolbert this week, especially with Deangelo Williams and his hurt quad. Picked up D.Moore in a trade to team up with S.Smith this week, hoping for a nice week from Smith so I can unload him. His remaining schedule looks bleak after this week.

I'm playing the top dog in our league this week who only has 1 loss, he's starting Tannehill (Stafford on bye, I snatched Locker early last week so he couldn't get him) and C.Clay and Marvin Jones. Usually TH night games trend lower in scoring, so tonight's game could really sink this guy. He's been the luckiest FF Team we've ever seen, 8th/12 in pts scored and #1 in points scored against him. For some reason, his opponents just never score shit when they play him, guy is bulletproof (606 pts over 8 = 75/wk against).

I'm actually starting Charles Clay in a ppr league, would you recommend I go pick up another TE to start like Fleener?

Should I start McFadden or Zac Stacy?

Stacy is likely a game day decision so that should make it easier. Even if he goes I'd take McFadden. But I've been burned by devaluing a player/matchup based on injury.

My dilema is my only other startable running back 2 this week is Lamar Miller TONIGHT or Stacey on Sunday. I'm really torn based on the injury news for Stacey. Yeah he practiced, very limited, but ankles are funny. I'd rather see what happens on FRI practice but that can't happen.

I don't want to risk a zero and am very tempted to play Miller tonight. But everything is going against that - matchup, thursday game, RBBC, etc.

I just traded Witten to start Fleener, so I'm high on him due to the Reggie Wayne injury. Will be interesting to see how Luck distributes the ball. I'd avoid Clay this week, but Tannehill could prove me wrong. One thing we do know is that Tannehill is going to have to throw to win, but the odds are against him (QBs worse on Thursdays, going against a top 5 defense that sacks a lot, Tannehill takes the most sacks in the league, no Gibson to help him). I'm betting that Cincy's D comes out on top.

This is funny, my buddy lamented the same thing but with Deangelo Williams (bruised quad,Q) vs Lamar Miller TONIGHT. I told him to go with Deangelo because I don't think Miller will get much vs Cincy, and Miami abandoned the run early last week even when they were doing okay. Worst case, you pick up a shot in the dark off waivers. I haven't been keeping up with Stacey's status so can't help you on that one, just know that Miller is most likely not going to get much tonight against Cincy's front 7.

My back up for Stacey play is pick up his backup and drop QB locker. I picked up locker to cover rg3, not starting locker. But I gotta have options there. Qb is killing me.

I'd have no problems starting Locker. I've been high on both him and Dalton since early in the season relative to their draft positions. They are still relatively undervalued except in 2 QB leagues.

Agree, I'm starting Locker this week. Not the most ideal matchup, but he has a better matchup than my other option (Matt Ryan vs Carolina).

Over rg3? When I sit him he blows up. When I start him he costs me the game.

Stacey's backup is horrendous. I drafted D. Richardson in a few leagues and have dropped him with zero interest in picking him back up.

Yeah not the best matchup for Dalton tonight as Miami was able to pressure Cincy's OLine weaknesses (Cook and Zeitler are weak), but they are usually better against lesser DL's (3 of Miami's front 4 are studly and grade out high in Pass Rush). It was immovable object meets unstoppable force and something had to give... Dalton seemed to hold on to the ball too long at times (also a function of Miami's underrated PC) and Sanu's drops killed them.

Mike Wallace showed some life tonight, he was dropped in all my leagues and I may give him a spin since I'm thin at WR. He's only really useful for weeks 11(SD) and 13(NYJ). Either that or go for McGahee to stash for Weeks 12 (Pit) and 13 (Jax) when I have bad RB matchups - a long time away though.

The fantasy QB situation looked a lot more promising Week 1. Not many consistent QBs out there, it's almost as bad as the running back position. Bad year for fantasy football overall, in my opinion, it's really taking more luck (more so even that usual) to do well. Seeing a lot of boom-and-bust playing.

Which player do I drop? I'm trying to pickup Zac Stacy and figure I should drop Dexter or Hayward-bay. My lineup is below.

RG3
Mathew Stafford

Alfred Morris
Danny Woodhead
DeMarco Murray
Andre Ellington

P. Garcon
Calvin Johnson
Terrance Williams
Dexter McCluster
D. Hayward-Bay

Julius Thomas
Jordan Cameron

R. Succor (Kicker)
Saints (Defense)

I've said this all year and will continue to say it: Derious Hayward-Bey is not a good NFL receiver. I watched him for years on the Raiders. Yes the quarterbacks were awful, but quarterbacks don't give you stone hands, that's gods department. And I don't think even Luck can go against gods will.

Agree but McCuster isn't anything but an emergency flex starter either. Yes he's a versatile role player and occasionally has a decent game, but never consistently puts together multiple performances or enough snaps to have much value. Pierre Thomas of the Saints is the same thing.

I'd be interested to see if McCluster can replicate more targets this week to see if KC is using him more in short passing situations to keep less wear and tear on Charles.
I would wait and see but he isn't a bad play either because Buffalo has been good against the run and Manny Lawson may not play again (one of their best LB's against the pass) - you can expect more passes to him or Charles or Fasano than usual especially if Charles can't get going, and only Kiko Alonso will have a prayer at covering the short pass if Lawson is out again. This will be a great test for Charles on the ground against Buffalo (7th in Run D) and the Chiefs will have to run a bunch (or dink and dunk) to neutralize the horrible matchup of Mario Williams vs Eric Fisher on the pass rush - which is most likely to be exploited on passing downs on the left side where Fisher is.

With Heyward Bey, we know he will get more targets b/c of R.Wayne's injury but by how much is the question (will Luck trust Fleener more? Hilton?). Also to consider is that he allegedly "pulled up lame" yesterday, so keep a close eye on his injury status. Matchup wise, it's a decent to good play vs Houston since they can semi-stop the run (have been as good as Denver) and haven't been great in pass coverage despite not giving up a lot of yards. Without Cushing, their best run stopper at the 2nd level, they are more vulnerable on the ground if JJ Watt can be contained up front. Their only good DB is Jonathan Joseph and the rest are garbage (Ed Reed is in a freefall for the past 3 games). He will probably be on TY Hilton which could open things up for Heyward Bey.

If Heyward-Bey isn't hurt, then play him b/c of the matchup and assured targets.

So the gf really wants Keenan Allen (to the point where I wonder if she has insider info, haha). She's 2-6, I'm 6-2. She's looking to "shake things up" in hopes to improve her record. That said, we trade talked, and came up with this:

I give her: Gore, K. Allen, Bennett

I get: Rice, K. Wright, Graham

Rest of my roster:

Brees
Megatron
Dez Bryant
Percy Harvin
Moreno
Bush
D. Murray
Gronk
K.C.
Prater

I can't see any reason to not do this, but I hope I'm not missing something you guys might see. I don't really like giving up Gore, he's my favorite little monster, but Graham's a monster too. I'm just worried about this foot thing he's got. I know it's not bad now, but still.
