Its as if Democrats never existed in your revisionist view on history and did not fight against lending reforms in the lending industry especially in regard to Fannie and Freddie Mac. Or that Democrats did not lobby for loosening of lending standards to promote their own vision of "EVERYONE" being able to own a home because otherwise it would be "racist" if normally minorities without a 20% downpayment were denied loans.

I applaud your effort, but you're wrong. That's not what caused the crash. Canada still allows mortgages with 5% down and so far none of their banks have failed.
