My wife, who's not the most confident in bad weather, has driven in something like that. That doesn't look troublesome to me at all, though I don't know the road conditions (ie. icy). But hey, you shouldn't be scolded over a safety concern.

I just call a spade a spade. If a company is telling you that driving in unsafe conditions is more important to them than your safety, that's a shitty company.

LOL. Many of us drive in the snow, go skiing, work in this crap. When somebody shows some apprehension, my thought is, they need some experience on an empty road. Not one I am trying to commute on.

I've had to have this talk with a few of our junior employees. If you're not going in to work, just say "I won't be in today". Don't explain why, don't give details, and certainly don't send pictures. It's your sick/vacation day, just take it.
