so, no, nothing will happen with you eating that much grapefruit, and nothing will probably happen either if you at 10g of vitamin c from 20 capsules of vitamin c. the question is why.

Thats not totally true, C is water soluble and will be pissed out, however A, and E for example are fat soluble and excess will be stored up in the body.

of course eating too much is bad.. that's sorta the definition of "too"

Main Entry: too
Pronunciation: 'tü
Function: adverb
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English tO to, too -- more at TO
Date: before 12th century
1 : BESIDES, ALSO <sell the house and furniture too>
2 a : to an excessive degree : EXCESSIVELY <too large a house for us> b : to such a degree as to be regrettable <this time he has gone too far> c : VERY <didn't seem too interested>
3 : SO 2d <"I didn't do it." "You did too.">

i'm know what you mean, but when taken in excess, some water-soluble vitamins do bind to minerals and prevent their absorption, making them not so good to od on.
