Not comparing anything, just saying that the build up towards war is on track.

Iraq did not violate any treaty requirements at all, the expansion power granted was not part of the original resolution which was NEVER violated. The IAEA even gained more access through US demands but that didn't matter. The IAEA was happy both before that expansion but the US wanted war and was going to do anything and everything to ensure that they got it.

We're at the very beginning here but it's going to be used as justification.

It was! I was and remain totally against the Iraq war, just saying that Iraq was indeed in breach of its obligations, unlike Iran.

Don't pretend that the UN sanctioned the US invasion, Iraq was in full compliance before the invasion but by then it didn't matter.

You KNOW that the US wanted the invasion, you KNOW that the US wants to invade Iran and yet THIS TIME everything is going to be all peachy even though the same pattern is emerging yet again?

I'm just saying that I've seen this before. If I turn out to be wrong that is awesome because just like last time around Brits go first in all US wars but I'm wary and this is something that we should all be looking at.
