Is Warren Sapp a racist?

LOL look at all the emotional sensitive white men in this thread. What he said was a contrast. And he's right. Rush the druggy said McNabb was over rated because he's black. Well what about Plummer, Manning, Couch for starters. Three white qbs who have been built up and can't win a big pressure game to save their souls. But Culpepper has been terrific. McNabb has gotten his team to 2 straight NFC title games. McNair has gotten his team to the SB. And Vick might be the best QB in the league. Nuff said. Sapp was right even though he's a clown.

A couple of years ago, before the Rockets drafted Ming, I was watching a Mavericks-Rockets game, and Wang Zhi-Zhi entered the game. The play-by-play guy made a comment about Yao coming into the NBA. Calvin Murphy's comment? "They all look the same to me."

And I never heard any sort of fallout about it at all.

I'm not getting emotional but a double standard does exist about who can say what. And while I do think both Rush and Sapp are world class idiots and blowhards both of their statements are correct.

There were several Cardinals All-Pros. Plummer just plain stinkin' sucks.

Plummer is actually a quite good QB. His stats and winning % have always sucked due to his being at AZ. For the longest time he was the only player they had and as a result he pressed a lot, made bad throws trying to make something happen, and thus has a high TD to INT ratio. Look at what he has done this year with a good supporting cast in Denver. It's just too bad it took this long for him to get on a good team.

It's not about pressing. It's about coaches having to throw out half the playbook because he can't throw to the opposite field. It's about Plummer locking in on his primary receiver and not throwing to open secondary targets. Trust me, I watched him play for 6 years. Even in the year the Cards went to the playoffs and beat the Cowboys he threw 20 picks.

Did you watch the Tampa Bay/Indianapolis game on Monday? Manning did really well under pressure.

As far as Sapp is concerned, who cares what he says? The guy talks a lot of crap. He's an idiot. If you go trying to tear apart everything that every idiot says, and try to find every nugget of hypocrisy and racism out there, you'll drive yourself insane.
