The one in Largo, MD (DC) is a freaking shthole. I went once, never going back. It had a similar feel to the projects (client wise) and I've been to some pretty rough areas of DC.

same. i get the feeling that most of the ppl that go to the one in nj come from camden or philly.
they can't afford a real vacation so they pack their 8 kids on a bus and they go to 6 flags as their summer getaway.

Yes unfortunately Six flags is still hell.

Take the trip to Hershey Park instead. Much much cleaner place!

I also highly recommend Knoebels. It is a bit out there in Pennsylvania but really good family fun, no hooligans and they have a ton of coasters. Also, if you buy tix in bulk, it is quite a bargain.

i also cracked up at the comment that all thugs wear do-rags.

if you get hung up on appearances of certain groups, youll allow it to make you paranoid and not have fun. relax, have a good time and dont jump to conclusions until a fight breaks out.

The Six Flags over here in the Los Angeles area is the spot for all the low-lives to go to but it has the best rides so I still go.

Last time I went to Six Flags in Arlington, TX , I had to take a shit, hit me like a ton of bricks. Emergency, danger, danger. I couldn't wait.

I've been in some nasty bar bathrooms, but this bathroom takes the cake. Every stall, seat was coated in urine and wet toilet paper and I got to play janitor!

What a day at SIX FLAGS!!!

My experience at Great Adventure in NJ has been fine, speaking as a New Yorker. Too bad none of the rides gives me a thrill anymore. The world needs better rollercoasters. I have designs in RC Tycoon 3 that I think engineers should see

Nah man, don't insult Philly like that A day at the shore is cheaper than Great Adventure.

Seriously, though, used to love going there as a kid. These days, it's horrid. I live near DC now and won't go to the one here based solely on what Great Adventure has become. I feel less safe there than I do in some of the rougher neighborhoods in/around DC.

None of the above. At least they're spending time together as a family. Last I checked, that's important if you're raising kids. Anyone making fun of that probably has mommy (or daddy) issues.

I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up in an immigrant family (Italian) and had parents who actually paid attention to their kids, tried to put their children first, sacrificed for them, even if it was just a day at a shitty amusement park, but being critical of that is just stupid. Didn't realize that many people were so detached from reality.
