Heres the jist, We have set up a Drobo Pro with 3 volumes, We can network to it via the puter that its connected to via the USB cable no problem.
The manual says Drobo can be connected directly to a switch and use Iscsi, Ive done this.
question here, Is this suppose to be a dedicated switch for ISCSI clients, Or can it be used for all network paths (book does not signify this).
Does it matter if its a router or does it have to be switch spacific.
The machine hooked to the Drobo via the USB is Win7 x64, The one I am trying to connect via ISCSI to the Drobo is also Win7 (Once I get this one done I can follow suite with the rest of the workstations).
I cant seem to get the ISCSI initiator to see the drobo and its drives/volumes, Yes I know the IP and enter it, It comes back with nothing, The firewall allows it to pass and shows connection but no responds.
