There is a website I go to that was created by a former Muslim. The site is faithfreedom.org. In the site, the author makes claims that Islam is not a true religion and that Muhammad was:

a rapist
a pedophile
an assassin
a mass murderer
a lecher
a misogynist
a narcissist
a looter
a mentally disturbed (man)

The author even makes a challenge for anyone to disprove the accusations. If someone is successful, the site will be removed.

Might be a way for you to make money! Go for it!

Because the Koran was dictated to Mohammed by Satan, Islam is evil.
If you follow Islam you are againt God and doing evil, even if you are not intending to do that.
Many people probably have good intentions who are Muslim and are trying to do God's will. Because they have been misled about what God's will is and tricked into doing Satan's will they are doing evil instead of good.

Islam and Christianity are, as religions, nothing in and of themselves. They are neither good nor evil. They are merely words in books and no bible or qu'ran ever jumped up off a table and took someone's head off.

It's people that twist religions into good or bad. We in the west are well aware of what religion can do when it drives a group of people with power to do dastardly things. The christian religion drove the entire western culture into darkness for more than 10 centuries. It stifled us, held us back, destroyed knowledge, persecuted people, and wiped out entire civilizations. This is what frightens the west because we can see this same thing happening now in the Muslim world. In the dark ages not everyone was a wicked christian either. Back then they would also claim it was a religion of peace. While the intent of peace was there and many people believed it, the powerful people in control of government used it otherwise to control almost the entire known world, and that control was vicious and brutal.

The same is now true of Islam. There are powerful groups of people using Islam as a basis for govenment that are oppressing and persecuting non-Muslims around the world. We in the west see the dark ages being advanced again by those who weren't in on it the first time around. I, for one, don't want this world thrust into the same type of stupidity and loss, so the only way to counter it is to fight it. Islam needs to separate itself from government and the rule of the land, just as Christianity is now in most western governments. When Islam does that and everyone can practice their religion freely and without persecution of fear of retribution, I won't have a problem with it. Till then...we fight. We must for the sake of all those who want to justify their religion as a "peaceful" one. Only then can you truly make that claim.
